Features

Subaru EyeSight

EyeSight Driver Assist Technology

Standard on all trims, the latest EyeSight system uses dual cameras plus a wide-angle mono camera to monitor the road, detect hazards and assist the driver. It includes Adaptive Cruise Control, Emergency Lane Keep Assist, Emergency Stop Assist, Lane Centring and Lane Keep functions, Sway Warning, Lead Vehicle Start Alert, Pre-Collision Braking and Pre-Collision Throttle Management. Touring and RS models add Automatic Emergency Steering. Previous Imprezas equipped with EyeSight have earned the IIHS’s highest front crash prevention rating.

Subaru Rear/Side Vehicle Detection (SRVD)

Available on the Touring trim and above, SRVD uses sensors and side-mirror LED indicators to alert the driver to nearby hazards. Blind Spot Detection identifies vehicles hidden behind the C-pillars, Lane Change Assist warns of rapidly approaching traffic in adjacent lanes, and Rear Cross Traffic Alert signals vehicles or pedestrians approaching from either side while reversing.
Subaru Boxer Engine

The Dynamic Boxer Engine

The 2026 Impreza offers two direct-injection Subaru Boxer engines: a naturally aspirated 2.0-litre on the Convenience and Touring trims, and a naturally aspirated 2.5-litre on the RS. Both use Dual Active Valve Control and modern weight-saving measures to deliver strong efficiency, low emissions and responsive acceleration. Each engine pairs with a Lineartronic CVT, while Touring and RS models also include the SI-DRIVE system with Intelligent and Sport modes for tailored performance.
