The 2026 Solterra brings Subaru’s safety focus into the electric era with the strengthened e-Subaru Global Platform, Symmetrical Full-Time AWD and dual-function X-MODE for secure traction in all conditions. EyeSight Driver Assistance Technologies

Every Solterra includes next-generation EyeSight, using a wide-angle camera and advanced recognition software to detect hazards and provide timely support. The system features the Pre-Collision System, Low-Speed Acceleration Suppression, Parking Support Brake, Road Sign Assist with speed limiter, Lane Departure Alert with Prevention, Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, Lane Tracing Assist, Proactive Driving Assist, Emergency Driving Stop System, Emergency Steering Assist and Intersection Collision Avoidance Support. It constantly monitors the surroundings to deliver added confidence on every drive.

Blind Spot Monitor and Rear Cross Traffic Alert

Standard on every Solterra, the Blind Spot Monitor uses radar sensors to detect vehicles outside your direct view and signals their presence through a side-mirror indicator. Rear Cross Traffic Alert adds audible and visual warnings when traffic approaches from either side while reversing. Together, they expand awareness and support safer manoeuvring in everyday situations.

Subaru StarDrive

Subaru StarDrive uses two integrated e-Axles, front and rear, each combining a motor, transaxle and inverter for smooth, immediate electric performance. Together, they produce 252 kW with instant torque of 268.6 Nm up front and 88.3 Nm at the rear. Power automatically shifts to the wheels with the most traction, supported by Vehicle Stability Control and brake-based torque vectoring for sharper handling. The low-mounted battery improves balance, while Eco and Power modes, along with steering-wheel regenerative braking paddles, give the driver precise control in all conditions.
